HOMEBASED  CHILDCARE

Caring home environments – your child’s home away from home.

Homebased Childcare is an early childhood service where children are cared for and educated in an approved Educator’s home, and operates in Hamilton and Cambridge. The service is available to children from birth - five years old but older siblings may also be cared for after school and during the school holidays.

To help you our Homebased Childcare service has qualified co-ordinators to advise, support and supervise Educators. Educators are involved in professional development programmes and undertake paediatric first aid training.

  • Siblings over the age of five may also be cared for after school, and during school holidays
  • 20 hours Free ECE a week available to all three and four year olds.


Hours

6:30 am - 7:30 pm Monday - Friday

Fees - effective October 2009 (subject to GST Increase in October 2010)

Preschool Fees: $4.40 per hour
After School Fees: $4.50 per hour

Mileage Rates: 70cents per km

Children receiving 20 hours Free ECE receive weekly credit of up to $88.00!

If you have more than one pre-school child attending Homebased Childcare, fees are discounted by 15%, for the child enrolled for the least hours

WINZ childcare subsidies are also available for families on low-middle incomes.
