We are one of the most well established childcare services in Hamilton. The Trust has been a provider of community-based childcare since 1976.

Hamilton Childcare Services Trust was formed by a group of parents using the (then) privately owned Lintott Childcare Centre. The newly formed Trust purchased the centre from the Lintott family with the aim of providing excellence in education and childcare of preschool children, which is still our philosophy to this day.

In 1980 the Trust expanded and became an arranger of home-based childcare through it's aptly named service, ‘Homebased Childcare’. Additionally in 1980, the Trust also bought Camellia Childcare Centre.

Hamilton Childcare Services Trust has a long and active history in the early childhood sector and is recognised both locally and nationally.

The management of the Trust is made up of elected community members and parents from the services, who meet monthly and act in governance role. Day-to-day management and operations are the responsibility of the Director and senior staff.
